a lifetime of healing
My bodywork training began when I was about 5 years old and my mom started asking me to massage her hands and feet before she went to bed.
It became a regular ritual and my hands learned a lot in those early years of practice.
From 1999-2006, I studied green building, sustainable communities,
and construction management at Stanford University. In 2001-02, I took a break from university studies to explore sustainability in my own life;
I attended massage school and have been practicing bodywork professionally ever since. After finishing my master's degree in civil and
environmental engineering, I worked for a San Francisco residential contractor as project engineer and green building coordinator for
about 3 years. I maintained my bodywork practice by seeing massage clients in the evenings and on weekends, and using my vacations to
practice bodywork at Tassajara Zen Mountain Center.
In 2008-09, I immersed myself in permaculture design and nature awareness training. Inspired by the tremendous
benefits of permaculture, I decided to quit my day job and re-focus my professional efforts on healing - in human bodies, communities, and
throughout earth's ecosystems. I am honored to use my gifts to expand awareness, facilitate release into the present truth, and support
the harmonic flow of life energy.
